Set APN β Command 803
APN is short of Access Point Name and provides your device with the information needed to connect to wireless service. On mobile phones the APN is usually set automatically by the Carrier, however for a tracking device it needs to be set manually. The APN settings vary by network but can usually be obtained by contacting your network.
A SMS in the following format should be sent: 803+PIN+space+APN+space+APN user+space+APN password
In this example we will user the APN settings for Vectone and 1234 as the device PIN:
The Username and Password for Vectone are blank and do not need to be provided:
Example: 8031234 webuk.mundio.com
